I divert into the vernacular for the title of this post to share a Filipino mnemonic to help remember the five parameters of data quality as prescribed by the World Health Organization’s publication “Improving Data Quality”
I used “KaTiPuNaN” to make it easy for field health workers to remember the five parameters:
Kumpleto (completenes)
Tama (accuracy and validity)
naPapanahon (timeliness)
Nababasa (legibility)
Nagagamit (accessibility)
This acronym does not include “reliability” which is part of the original publication. I guess in Filipino that will be “Maasahan”.
